The East Bay Chapter Outreach Program works to promote science education and help our members serve as role models by connecting them with students. Currently, we aim to connect AWIS members with existing projects in the East Bay, providing support through activities such as: hands-on experiments, science clubs, science fairs and career days.

Please click here to contact us if your organization is interested working with EbAWIS women scientists.

Community Resources for Science (CRS) helps elementary teachers use science resources to give all kids access to great hands-on learning experiences. At the same time, we work to build the science education opportunities in our community.

The Community in the Classroom program connects scientist volunteers with classrooms in Alameda County public elementary schools. Volunteers give fun, hands-on presentations on a wide variety of topics connected to elementary science standards.
