COMMUNITY
RESOURCES FOR SCIENCE
Community Resources for Science (CRS) helps elementary
teachers use science resources to give all kids access to great
hands-on learning experiences. At the same time, we work to build the
science education opportunities in our community.
The Community in the Classroom program connects scientist volunteers
with classrooms in Alameda County public elementary schools. Volunteers
give fun, hands-on presentations on a wide variety of topics connected
to elementary science standards.
